They knew the system and gamed it. North gate and the East Campus development will use these methods also in their re-application process since so much money is at stake. We must be vigilant or yes, we will be looking like the vegas strip. If we allow these people to compromise the runway 15 approach, we'll loose our only remaining instrument approach to College Park. This doesn’t seem like a big deal but it robs us of a future as a serious airport and is one more nail in our coffin. HELP KEEP CGS OPEN WE NEED IT FOR THE FUTURE!!!!! Mr. Vogel said he would revise his project plan to comply with the height restriction. University View was in fact impacted by the airport issue, as it was approved shortly after the regulations were enacted. The building footprint was shifted to the north, though not by much, to keep the building out of the almost direct flight path for planes taking off.
