Allow the mixed use Book Exchange project to move forward and require the developer to make these changes to Rt 1 as well. That way the city does not have to shell out any of its own cash for the project, but it gets done. I have a solution. It would be great to have some public space/outdoor seating there, which would really compliment the proposed student housing at the Book Exchange and possible hotel at the current City Hall location.
