RTCP Receives City Grant

The City of College Park has granted RTCP $500 through their community services grant program. The money will go towards supporting our hosting costs, and fees associated with some of the services we use such as Flickr.

We will also use some of the money for an advertising campaign and material to promote the site more widely in the new year.

We appreciate this city support and the continued support from our readers. Our biggest challenge remains identifying volunteers to contribute photos and writing to the site in order to keep the website up-to-date. If you are interested in helping in the new year, please contact Rob or me.

  1. David and Rob, I would be more than happy to contribute funds to make up for any shortfall. RTCP is a very high quality useful site. I think it has had a tremendous positive impact in educating people around the issues. It certainly has helped cultivate plenty of interest, but most the most important benefit: education and knowledge development/sharing. Tell me what you need. You know how to reach me.

  2. RTCP has done more the for City than any beauty pageant. Set up a pay-pal link and I’ll help support it.
This is is a valuable resource that I would not want to do without.

  3. Please, I beg of you, under no circumstances imagine that posting pictures of yourselves in swimsuits is a good way to raise money. That kind of cultural contribution is for others to employ. Just follow Kevin and Clay’s suggestions that you let us give you money.

  4. Interesting – RTCP CHANGED the post and decided to stop whining about receiving ONLY $500 from the City of College Park. I’m curious why you decided to change (not update) the original post and why some of the original comments including David’s were deleted.
