Density can either exacerbate or help reduce congestion problems. To be done right, new connections must be made to give more options and shorter connections for travel. This plan concept was already disconnected enough with the neighboring university park and Calvert hills fighting to prevent local road connections. I like he proposal of cafritz, but have always been a bit skeptical of the location being suitable for this type of development, as it isn't really central to anything. It would be nice to have a grocery store within walking distance from Calvert hills though, something he college park area desperately needs. It was my first time there, but I loved the atmosphere, food and classmates that were there. I didn't have the chance to come back a second time, but now I wish I had. This is causing an overcrowding population and a swell of daily traffic due to vehicular use by residents, workers and students that is growing and worsening by the day.
